International Payments and Shipping
The Hobby Zone is a company incorporated in Chile. All products currently in stock are located in Chile and are shipped directly from there.
The primary currency we work with is the Chilean peso (CLP), although we also accept payments in US dollars (USD). All payment methods available in the store are processed in one of these two currencies.
Currently, The Hobby Zone offers payment and shipping options for Latin America, the United States, and Canada. If you are located in another country and wish to purchase a product, please contact us for a quote on the most convenient shipping option.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Shipments are sent via standard service through Correos de Chile, and the cost depends on the total weight of the package. The rate is flat for all available countries, and you can calculate the cost using the following table:

For reference, consider the following approximate weights:
- Straps, acrylics, badges or small objects: 12 g
- Tomonui-type plush toys and discs: 100 g
- Figures with box: 300 g
- Nesoberi Mega Jumbo and other large plush toys: 800 g
- Art books: 1 kg
We recommend grouping multiple items into a single order to save on shipping costs. All international shipments include tracking and have an estimated delivery time of 20 to 30 business days to the destination country.
INTERNATIONAL PAYMENT METHODS
1.- GLOBAL66
Global66 is an international payments platform that allows you to send money from your country using your local currency, without needing a credit card. This method is ideal for customers who prefer to avoid card-related fees or don't have one.
To pay for your order using Global66, you need to download the app and create a personal account. Once you've done that, follow the steps below:
- Add funds to your Global66 account for the amount you wish to pay. You can do this via local bank transfer from your country.
- Add us as a contact using any of the following information:

- Make the transfer indicating the exact amount of your order. You can pay in your local currency; the platform will automatically convert it to Chilean pesos (CLP) or US dollars (USD).
- Once you have made the transfer, you can send the payment receipt to tuhobbyzone@gmail.com to expedite the verification, or wait for the system to automatically confirm the payment.
- Once payment is confirmed, your order will be prepared and subsequently shipped according to the established timeframes.
IMPORTANT:
If we do not receive a payment notification within a maximum of 48 hours from the time the order is placed, it will be automatically cancelled.
2.- FLOW
Flow is a payment gateway that allows you to pay using credit and debit cards, as well as some digital wallets like Onepay. This method is available to customers in Mexico, Brazil, Peru, the United States, and Canada.
To complete the payment, you will be redirected to a secure external gateway where you can enter your card details or select your available digital wallet.
About international cards and 3D Secure (3DS)
According to Chilean law, international cards must have 3D Secure (3DS) verification to process payments. 3D Secure is an additional security system used by banks that requires extra validation at the time of payment, such as a code sent to your phone, confirmation in your banking app, or another authentication method.
IMPORTANT:
- Not all international cards are compatible with 3D Secure.
- In some cases, payments may be rejected by the issuing bank, even if the card works correctly elsewhere.
- Approval rates for international cards may vary, and in some cases, payments may not be completed.
If you have any problems paying by card, we recommend trying again or using another available payment method.
3.- PAYPAL
PayPal is an international payment platform that allows you to pay quickly and securely using a credit card, debit card, or available balance in your account.
This method is widely used globally and does not require creating an additional account in our store to complete the payment.
By selecting PayPal, you will be redirected to their platform to complete your purchase securely.
About currency and conversion
Payments made through PayPal are processed in US dollars (USD).
If your local currency is different, PayPal will automatically convert it at checkout, using its own exchange rate.
For some customers, other payment methods available in the store may be more convenient, especially those that allow payment directly in local currency or via international bank transfer.
