Exchanges, refunds and returns.

At The Hobby Zone, we want you to have a great shopping experience. Below, we clearly explain the deadlines, conditions, and processes.


Return and refund periods

  • If your product has a problem, you must contact us within the first 48 hours of delivery.
  • Once the case is approved, the review process will be carried out upon receipt of the product.
  • Refunds are processed within 1 to 7 business days of approval.
  • The money is refunded using the same payment method used for the purchase.
  • No returns or refunds are given for change of mind.

Problems with your order

If you receive an incorrect or defective product:

  • You must report it within 48 hours of delivery
  • You must include the order number and evidence (photos or videos).

In these cases, The Hobby Zone:

  • It will cover the shipping costs
  • They will handle the exchange or refund accordingly.

Conditions for returns

To accept a return:

  • The product must be unused.
  • It must be in the same condition as when it was received
  • It must include its original packaging.

Flawless shifting

If you wish to make a change without there being a fault:

  • Each case will be evaluated individually.
  • You must comply with all return conditions
  • Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer (if applicable).

Ineligible products

No returns or refunds are accepted on:

  • Products on sale or clearance
  • Products that are not in their original condition or with missing parts due to causes not attributable to the store
  • Products that were purchased more than 7 calendar days ago.

About boxes and packaging

Many of our products are imported and collectible, so the boxes may have minor imperfections such as slight dents or wear. This is not considered a defect, as it does not affect the product itself.

If the condition of the box is important to you, we recommend contacting us before purchasing.


Right of withdrawal

According to Chilean law, the right of withdrawal is not mandatory for online purchases.

The Hobby Zone does not offer the right of withdrawal, unless expressly stated in a promotion or particular condition.


Refunds

Once the product has been received and inspected (if applicable):

  • We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If approved, it will be automatically processed to the original payment method.
  • The processing time may depend on your bank or financial institution.

If you still don't see the refund:

  • Check your bank account
  • Contact your bank or card issuer
  • If the problem persists, please contact us.

Shipping

  • You should not return the product to the manufacturer.
  • We will provide you with the return address when we process your case.
  • The customer is responsible for shipping costs for voluntary exchanges.

We cannot guarantee the receipt of returns without tracking or shipping documentation. Please ensure you leave proof of shipment after making a return.
